The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course has been updated to reflect the most current science from the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. This instructor-led classroom course is intended for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. Who should take this course? • Registered Nurses • Nurse Practitioners • Physicians/ Physician Assistants • Dentists • Paramedics/ EMTs • Respiratory Therapists • Medical Students/Medical Residents • Emergency Response personnel • Emergency Medicine personnel • Critical Care/ Intensive Care specialists Course Content: ➣Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. Students who successfully pass the skills test and score at least 84% on the course exam will receive a course completion card. Requirements (Before taking the PALS Class): ➣ Please email a copy of your current (not expired) PALS card to: info@heartdefensellc.com. (Must be American Heart Association). ➣ Must complete the FREE 1-hr Pre-course Self-Assessment (with a passing score of at least 70%). The link will be sent via email.
